From Aldi to Asda and Tesco to M&S, supermarkets are stacking the shelves high – some even started in January (in fact, 90% of us Brits agree that’s way too early). With a massive 80 million Easter eggs sold in the UK each year, many Brits are looking for ways to keep the tradition alive without blowing the budget.
The good news? Supermarkets have some cracking deals up for grabs – you just need to know where to look for the cheapest Easter eggs this spring.
Whether you’re after budget-friendly buys, luxury treats, or something in between, the savings experts at VoucherCodes.co.uk have put together a guide of where to shop smart this Easter.

This year, Aldi is offering the cheapest egg around, with Malteasers or Smarties 100g chocolate eggs on the shelf for just £1.35.
From £2.99 for a ‘Free From’ Honeycomb Chocco Easter Egg (100g), to £9.99 for the indulgent Specially Selected Belgian Truffle Filled Egg (250g), Aldi’s got something for every budget.

“Easter is a time for treating your loved ones, but that doesn’t mean overspending,” she says
“This year, UK supermarkets have some fantastic deals, and the key to saving is being a savvy shopper. Make the most of loyalty discounts, multibuy offers, and exclusive discount codes to cut costs while still enjoying your favourite chocolates.
“Another great tip? Shop towards the end of the Easter period – many supermarkets reduce prices on seasonal stock as the holiday approaches.”
