Activities included volunteering, supporting peers during lunchtime, raising awareness about mental health through Sunshine Day, and leading wellbeing assemblies.
Other initiatives saw students visiting elderly residents in a nearby care home, organising and packing away during the Communication Works event, and decorating an autism ribbon to promote inclusion.
Sara Johnson, parent liaison officer at the academy, said: “We are incredibly proud to have received the SuperKind Award, a recognition that beautifully reflects the spirit and values at the heart of our school.
“Our students have shown extraordinary empathy, kindness, and a deep commitment to making the world a better place through meaningful actions.
“Kindness is not just a value we teach; it’s a way of life within our school community.
“This award is a powerful reminder that compassion has no limit and that even the smallest acts of kindness can spark lasting change.
“We celebrate this achievement not just as an award, but as a reflection of who we are.”

More than 1,000 schools registered for the award this year, but only a select number who demonstrated outstanding social impact received the accolade.
Students at Charlton Park Academy also contributed by delivering meal prep, supporting fundraising efforts, creating posters, and developing road crossing skills.
SuperKind commended the academy for its holistic approach to social action, noting that its work not only makes a tangible difference in the community but also serves as inspiration for other schools.
Keren Mitchell, CEO of SuperKind, said: “Huge congratulations are in order for Charlton Park Academy for achieving the Social Impact Schools Award.
“It’s so important that the next generation are educated, inspired, and empowered to change issues that they care about through charity work and social action.
“We know how much the award means to everyone from Ofsted to prospective parents to the teaching staff, and of course, it’s brilliant for the children to see their efforts celebrated and rewarded, so it’s a fantastic achievement.”
The school’s social action projects reflect its wider mission to nurture not only academic achievement but also kindness, resilience, and civic responsibility.
Charlton Park Academy now joins a growing number of schools across the UK that are being recognised for prioritising social impact alongside education.
The Social Impact Schools Award is part of SuperKind’s broader mission to equip young people with the tools and confidence to make a positive difference in the world.
Charlton Park Academy’s latest recognition stands as a testament to the power of empathy, community engagement, and the belief that every action—no matter how small—can help shape a kinder, more inclusive society.
