The incident happened at the junction of Cavendish Square and Wigmore Street in Westminster at around 6.45am today (December 4).
An ambulance crew attended and treated a patient at the scene before taking them to hospital.
Wigmore Street remains closed both ways and detours are in operation for bus routes 12, 22, 55 and 73.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 6.45am today (4 December) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Cavendish Square and Wigmore Street, W1G.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and treated a patient before taking them to a major trauma centre.”
