No arrests have been made at this stage.
Police were called at 3.06am today (October 15) to Rushey where a man in his 20s was treated stab wounds.
He was then taken to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
A murder investigation has been launched, and a crime scene remains in place.
Police were called hours later to Farley Mews, near Mountsfield Park, at 8.06am to reports of another stabbing.
The park is just a short distance from Rushey Green.
A man was treated at the scene and rushed to hospital, his condition is unknown at the time of reporting.
It is unclear at this time whether these two incidents are linked as we await information from the Metropolitan Police.
A cordon remains in place at Rushey Gren from the A205 by Catford Gyratory to Honley Road and Wildfell Road, as well as a separate one near Honley Road up to Mountsfield Park.
