Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called at approximately 2pm this afternoon (January 13) with reports of a crash in Carpenters Road.
They were dispatched to the scene with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, known for only treating London’s most seriously ill patients.
The incident is understood to have occurred at the junction of the road leading onto High Street.
A man in his 20s was found injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene of the incident and there has been no arrest made.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the crash.
