Canvas & Cream, located on London Road in Forest Hill, has requested a full variation of its premises licence from Lewisham Council.
The application details several changes, including an extension of the hours for the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises.
The café seeks permission to serve alcohol from 9am to 10am, Monday to Saturday.
On Sundays, it wishes to serve alcohol from 9am to 12pm and from midnight to 1am on Saturdays and Sundays.
Canvas & Cream also wants to add plays and comedy performances to its offerings.
The proposal suggests the inclusion of plays from 6pm to 10.30pm and comedy performances from 7pm to 10.30pm, every day of the week.
The café also seeks to extend the hours for recorded music, proposing to play music from midnight to 1am on Saturdays and Sundays.
As part of the application, the café requests permission to provide late-night refreshments from 11pm to midnight, every day of the week.
The proposed operating hours for the café are from 8am to 10am, Monday to Sunday, and from midnight to 1am on Saturdays and Sundays.
A seasonal variation is also included in the application, allowing the café to operate until 1am on New Year’s Eve.
The application and Lewisham Council’s licensing authority’s public register are available for inspection at the council’s office in Laurence House, Catford Road.
The licence application can be viewed by appointment between Monday and Friday from 9am to 4pm, or at any time online at the council’s website.
Members of the public, as well as responsible authorities, have until November 28 to make representations to the licensing authority regarding this application.
Representations must be submitted in writing to the council’s address or via email to licensing@lewisham.gov.uk.
The licence application warns that it is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with the application, with an unlimited fine for offenders.
