Phantom Peak, based in Canada Water, is bringing back its interactive steampunk town with the launch of The Burning Blimp Festival, its latest seasonal chapter.
The attraction recently won Blooloop’s 2024 Global Best Immersive Experience award and is known for blending live theatre, mystery-solving, and open-world exploration.
Set across both indoor and outdoor spaces, the experience includes a lake, canals, and waterfalls.
Visitors are free to explore at their own pace, interacting with live characters, completing quests, and following clues that reveal the evolving storyline.
Each season adds new characters and plot twists.
This summer’s story focuses on the anniversary of a blimp crash, with talk of rising resistance to the fictional JONACO corporation and rumours of a former mayor returning to town.
Guests are invited to take part in activities ranging from puzzle trails and mini games to satirical group chants and mock fitness routines.
Alongside the narrative, the event features themed food stalls and bars.
Street food includes burgers, loaded fries, boba tea, candy floss, and “craffles”, which is a croissant-waffle hybrid.
The attraction is designed to appeal to both adults and families, with sessions lasting around four hours.
Phantom Peak’s summer season opens in July and runs throughout the school holidays.
Adult tickets start at £35 and children’s tickets from £20.
The venue is fully accessible, and guests are allowed to bring their own food into the space.
Organisers say the experience is suitable for all ages and mixes storytelling, community atmosphere and creative world-building, all set in a fictional town where almost nothing is quite what it seems.
The event will run until September.
