Shaun Latimer-Kayser was found injured in Camden Gardens just before 3.30pm on September 27.
He was taken to hospital for treatment but died shortly after.
His family continue to be supported by specialist officers.
Dwight Merrick, 35, of Hanson Close, Beckenham, was charged with murder, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a bladed article.
He was also charged with common assault relating to an incident earlier in the day.
He appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court today (October 3), where he was remanded to next appear at the Old Bailey on October 7.
A 47-year-old man from north west London was arrested on suspicion of murder on September 29.
He has been released on bail.
