Santander is in the process of setting up its replacement branch in a refurbished retail unit in Cabot Place.
It is expected that the new bank will feature a new waiting area, self-serve room for online and telephone banking, and a tech table of support for customers looking to use digital services.
Whilst the replacement branch is in the works, customers have been advised to use an alternative Santander bank in the Surrey Quays Shopping Centre.
Those wanting to make cash deposits, check their balance, deposit checks and withdraw funds can do so at the Canary Wharf Post Office in Cabot Place East.
The new branch is expected to open to customers on October 29.

A Santander spokesperson said: “We look forward to welcoming our customers to our new branch opening in the shopping centre later this month with a fresh look and feel for our customers, as well as some new features to enhance our customers’ banking experience.
“This includes a new comfortable waiting area, a self-serve room, where customers can access online and telephone banking, and a tech table – an area to educate and support our customers with their digital journeys.”
“We are sorry for any inconvenience caused while we are temporarily closed.”
