A casualty on tracks was reported on the Northern line at around 7pm on October 10.
Officers responded with paramedics, and a woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening but may be life-changing.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
The Northern line was suspended between Golders Green and Edgware as the incident was dealt with.
All services have since returned to normal.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called at around 7pm on Friday 10 October to reports of a casualty on the tracks at Burnt Oak Underground station.
“Officers responded with paramedics, and a woman was taken to hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening but may be life-changing.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
