Burger King, in South Street, has shut with the reason behind the closure left unclear.
It has been marked as “temporarily closed” on Google since Friday (August 8), but Burger King has not confirmed whether the premises will shut permanently.

A spokesperson for the chain said: “Burger King UK can confirm that our Romford restaurant has closed.
“Customers can still enjoy Burger King at nearby Burger King Hornchurch restaurant in 270 Hornchurch Rd, Romford, Hornchurch RM11 1PZ or Burger King Eastern Avenue Retail Park restaurant in Eastern Avenue Retail Park, Romford RM7 7JJ.”
The Recorder has asked Burger King for more information on the reason behind the closure.
