Scarlet, the St Clare Hospice charity shop in Queens Road, Buckhurst Hill, had to close in April for urgent replastering.
The shop reopened just a week later, but with reduced stock and bare walls while the plaster dried.

Spokesperson Mark Lloyd said: “It was a great success, volunteers and customers and everyone else involved loved how the shop looked and felt on the day.
“Alan, manager of Scarlet, and Nicole, assistant manager, would like to extend their warmest thanks to all the volunteers at Scarlet for all their continued hard work before and during the event and everything they do for Scarlet.”
Councillor Alexia Sparrow opened the event and another Buckhurst Hill business, Crumbs – Cakes of Good Taste, donated 48 cupcakes.
Carpet shop Lumleys donated the carpet by the front door and Dulux supplied the paint, St Clare being their charity of the year.
