Brookfield Primary Academy in Sutton is among the first schools in the country to offer the scheme, launched after the Easter holidays as part of the Government’s early rollout of universal free breakfasts.
The aim is to ensure that every child begins the day fed and ready to learn.
A spokesman for Brookfield Primary Academy said: “We’re pleased to be one of the first schools in the country to be an early adopter of the new national breakfast clubs programme.
“We have been offering all of our pupils a free breakfast before the start of the school day since returning from the Easter holidays.
“At LEO Academy Trust, we are also pleased to have the opportunity to support parents through this new scheme.”
Parents have praised the scheme and the broader support provided by the school.
Juliana Rayman, a parent, said: “Brookfield Primary has really gone above and beyond for my children and I.
“They don’t just provide education, they provide activities and mental health and SEN support, working in a family-oriented, and more importantly, a child-centred way.”
