This is according to new research conducted by Making Moves London, which assessed various factors including average monthly rent, yearly sunshine hours, air quality, access to green spaces, and cost of living.
Despite dropping from the top spot in the 2024 rankings, Bromley remains a popular choice for families in the capital and sits at number four on the list.
The borough is one of the greenest in London and enjoys a close proximity to Kent, known as the ‘Garden of England’.
It also boasts some of the lower crime rates in the city.
However, the average rent for a two to three-bed home in Bromley is £2,034 per month.
The research from Making Moves London ranked Barnet as the most family-friendly borough in London, with the City of Westminster, Croydon, and Bromley following closely behind.
The other boroughs making up the top 10 are Southwark, Merton, Hillingdon, Havering, Hackney, and Enfield.
