Emergency services rushed to Broadway, Bexleyheath, shortly after 2am today (January 4) after reports of a shooting.
Ambulance crews, paramedics and a team from London’s Air Ambulance were dispatched to the scene where they treated two people.

The patients were then taken to hospital; the News Shopper understands one has been treated for a gunshot wound and the other a head injury.
Photos from the scene, taken at around 9.30am this morning, show several police vans parked up near the Esso garage.
A police officer can be seen tying a cordon to a lamppost outside Londis, while a police van and another officer block the entrance to Broadway.

The cordon area then extends from here down towards the junction with Albion Road.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.10am today (4 January) to reports of a shooting on Broadway, Bexleyheath.
“We sent resources to the scene including ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer.

“We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated two people and took them to hospital.”
The Metropolitan Police has also been contacted but has not yet responded.
