Two people have been rushed to hospital after a shooting in Brixton Hill.
The London Ambulance Service was called to the incident on Forster Road at 8.50pm last night (September 8).
Two ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer and a paramedic were sent to the scene.
Two advanced trauma teams in cars from London’s Air Ambulance were also dispatched.
Two patients were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital as a priority.
We are awaiting further information from the Metropolitan Police.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.50pm last night (8 September) to reports of a shooting in Forster Road, SW2.
“We sent two ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer and a paramedic from our tactical response unit to the scene.
“We also dispatched two advanced trauma teams in cars from London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated two patients at the scene and took them both to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
