The event took place at King George’s Playing Fields, where families enjoyed a variety of activities and entertainment.

Visitors also enjoyed rides, walkaround entertainers, and a traditional Punch and Judy show, as well as various food and charity stalls.

“It was heartwarming to see everyone come together in such great numbers to celebrate not only a cherished Brentwood tradition, but also the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
“From the vibrant performances to families enjoying the rides and attractions, the spirit of togetherness was felt throughout the day.”
