We surveyed the data for Brent’s railway stations, some of which were London Overground, to find out which stations were the most and least used in the past 12 weeks.
We are looking at which station was the most used, which was least used, which had the most punctual services and which came top in the borough for performance.
Willesden Junction station was the most used and South Kenton the least and the one with the most punctual trains was Sudbury and Harrow Road.
Most used was Willesden Junction station with 18,843 entries or exits per day.
In contrast, South Kenton station, operated by London Underground, saw only 1,521 passengers come in or out daily.
Sudbury & Harrow Road had the best punctuality, with 80% of services running on time in contrast to Kensal Rise station where 23% of trains were on time but in 49% of cases were only late by one or two minutes.
The best performance went to Wembley Stadium, which received a score of 93%.
Sudbury & Harrow Road was a point behind with 92% punctuality, and Queen’s Park station just behind with 91%.
The worst performers were the London Overground stations Brondesbury and Kensal Rise, which both had a ‘acceptable’ score of 83% for punctuality.
