The incident occurred after a pursuit began on Bromley Road at 10.37pm on December 9.
According to police, the pursuit ended in Brangbourne Road over an hour later when a car crashed with a lamppost.
The driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of driving offences, possession of cannabis, and controlling and coercive behaviour.
He was taken to hospital and remains in custody at this time.
Enquiries are ongoing.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “On Tuesday, 9 December at 22:37hrs police were engaged in a pursuit that started on Bromley Road and ended in a collision in Brangbourne Road, Bromley at 23:04hrs.
“The driver of the vehicle, crashed into a lamppost before he was arrested on suspicion of driving offences, possession of cannabis and controlling and coercive behaviour. He remains in police custody.
“He was taken to hospital as a precaution, and there were no reports of any serious injuries following the collision.”
