Tesco is providing ‘hundreds’ of ‘perfectly imperfect’ Christmas trees to customers at select stores, including Borehamwood Extra.
The giveaway will take place on December 6 and will begin at 10am.
The wonky trees, with features like unevenly spaced branches, would not normally be on sale, but are deemed “perfectly imperfect” by Tesco.
In line with the festive spirit of giving, customers will have the option to make a donation to Tesco’s food charity partners, FareShare and Trussell.

The initiative forms part of the supermarket’s “That’s what makes it Christmas” campaign, encouraging people to embrace the endearing chaos of the festive season.
New research has identified the second week of December as the nation’s favourite for putting up the Christmas tree.
Close to a quarter, 24 per cent, of Brits choose this time for their decoration festivities.
However, the survey also revealed some common Christmas tree mishaps experienced by many, ranging from broken baubles to tree-toppling pets.
The free Christmas trees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at 10 Tesco stores, with one tree per household.
Some of the branches include Borehamwood Extra, Colney Hatch Extra, and Hammersmith.
