For this weekend only (October 11 – October 12) Boots are hosting a free pop up event in Soho – Boots House Party.
This event, located at 15 Bateman Street, is a weekend-long event running from 11am to 6pm on Saturday, and 12pm to 4pm on Sunday, where visitors win prizes, grab some freebies, try some products and get their hands on a goodie bag worth £100.
One important thing to note is as this event is not ticketed, and based on a first come first served basis, you can expect long queues and wait times.
The event is situated on one floor featuring a number of rooms, with the first being where you can have a go at a lucky dip from the ball bath.
The pop up also has an area where you can make your own charm bracelet or handbag charm and confess your biggest beauty faux pas.
There’s also an area to get your hair done with GHD and your lips done with beauty brand Sacheu Beauty, known for their peel-off lip stains, although again expect to wait as there is only one hair and one makeup station.
Finally at the back of the store you’ll find a Bubble Tea area along with cute installations to take photos next to.
Every guest also gets a goodie bag with products worth £100, and my bag included things from the likes of Benefit, Sol de Janero, Berry and St Moritz to name a few.
My bag included 10 free items, mostly full-sized and most being skincare products, all barring a mascara, a hair serum and a fragrance.
But aside from the gift bag I also left with an additional free product from the lucky dip, which was a full sized cleanser from The Ordinary, along with a lip product from Sacheu that was used during my makeover.
If you have the time and don’t mind the queue, this event is well worth going to this weekend and can be found at 15 Bateman Street, just a short walk from Tottenham Court Station.
