Emergency services were called to Bondway in south west London today (July 5) at around 5:38am to reports of an altercations in the area.
A man in his 30s was treated by paramedics for multiple knife injuries, however he died later the same day from his injuries.
Two men, aged 35 and 33, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
A crime scene currently remains in place as the force continues its investigations.
Detective Inspector Aytac Necati, who is leading the investigation, said: “Sadly, a man has lost his life in the most horrendous of circumstances. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
“We understand the effect this will have on the local community, and will ensure that officers are deployed on reassurance patrols to respond to any questions or concerns.
“Two men have already been arrested. Detectives are working hard to establish the circumstances of what happened. At this time, we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.”
