Essex Police launched a search yesterday for David Lee, 46, after he was reported missing.
The force confirmed the search has now been suspended after a man’s body was discovered in east London.
Formal identification is yet to take place but Mr Lee’s family have been informed.
The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.”
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: “We have suspended our search for David Lee, 46, who had been reporting missing from Brentwood.
“This follows the discovery of a man’s body in east London.
“Formal identification has yet to take place, but Mr Lee’s family have been informed and we’re supporting them.
“The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.”
