The B&M Home Store with Garden Centre in Willesden High Road will serve its last customers on March 29.
A closure notice has been put up in a window thanking shoppers for their loyal custom over the years.
The store offers customers discounted home and garden accessories and sells groceries, furniture, toys and seasonal goods.
One anonymous customer told the BKTimes: “All our neighbours are absolutely gutted; you can get everything there from Christmas decorations to food, toiletries, paint and garden plants.
“It’s a bit no-frills but it has some absolute bargains in there.

“Our nearest one now is in Colindale which is too far away to travel. Before B&M it was a Homebase.
“We’re interested to see what opens up there now or if the space gets turned into flats.”
A planning application for the site was approved by Brent Council in June last year.
The applicant named on Brent Council’s planning portal, HSBC Bank Pension Trust (UK) Limited, plans to partly demolish the site and turn it into two shops.
A design and access statement says: “The existing building is tired in appearance and in need of a new lease of life. Well considered design choices would lead to an effective, contemporary new façade which would provide an enhanced aesthetic.
“The existing car parking arrangement is convoluted and ineffective. Optimising this, along with pedestrian routes, would have benefits for both vehicles and pedestrians.”
The garden centre will be replaced by “soft landscaping and trees”.
