The boy is charged with “possessing an offensive weapon on school premises”.
The charge sheet states that the knife was found while the boy was in the head teachers’ office.
The knife was a black handled kitchen knife with approximately six-inch blade, according to court documents.
It has not yet been revealed which school the incident took place at.
The boy will appear in court on March 14.
