Emergency services were called to reports of a man in cardiac arrest in Broadway at around 4.10am yesterday (August 25).
The man was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
His death is being treated as unexpected and an investigation is ongoing.
A tent and a cordon were put in place next to Hazine Restaurant as the incident was being dealt with.
All cordons have since been lifted.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to a report of a man in cardiac arrest in Broadway, Bexleyheath at 4.10am on Monday, 25 August.
“A man in his 20s was sadly pronounced deceased.
“His death is being treated as unexpected and an investigation is ongoing.
