The chimneys of the iconic London landmark will be illuminated at 8pm on Friday, April 25, as part of a celebration of Peppa Pig’s new sibling.
The event follows the announcement of Mummy Pig’s pregnancy in February.
The “it’s a girl” moment will be the highlight of a celebration at the Peppa Pig store inside Battersea Power Station, which will begin at 2pm.
The store, the world’s first permanent Peppa Pig shop, will host baby-themed activities, character appearances, and fundraising for the National Childbirth Trust (NCT), the UK’s leading charity for pregnancy and parents.
A donation point will be set up at the store’s till from April 25, allowing customers to contribute to the cause.
More activities in support of NCT are planned for the Peppa Pig store.
NCT was announced earlier this month as the official “Pregnancy and Parenting Charity Partner” for Peppa Pig in the UK.
The public is invited to join the gender reveal party and watch the illumination of the chimneys.
The excitement doesn’t end there, as Peppa Pig begins a new era with the launch of “Peppa Meets the Baby”, a new cinema experience.
This hour-long, song-filled screening, featuring 10 new episodes, will be shown in more than 2,600 cinemas across 19 countries from May 30, 2025.
The episodes will follow Peppa and George as they prepare for the arrival of their baby sister.
The gender reveal episode will also be available on YouTube on May 3 as part of the Peppa Pig Tales series.
The Battersea Power Station chimneys will change colour between pink and blue in the lead-up to the big reveal, adding to the anticipation.
