Dating back to 1858, Battersea Park nestled between Chelsea Bridge and Albert Bridge is one of south London’s most iconic locations to see wisteria this spring.

Some of the spots not to miss are its wooden wisteria walkway with benches to sit on, if you fancy a quiet spot to stop off at and have some lunch or a coffee.
Aside from its wisteria, Battersea Park is also a hotspot for Cherry Blossom, along with its colourful flower beds and scenic lake.

If you’re visiting, also be sure to bring some bird seed to feed the resident parakeets in the park too.
How to get there
Battersea Park is easily accessible via public transport, with several bus routes and the Battersea Park and Queenstown Road train stations nearby. The park is open daily and entry is free.
