Under the Anti-social behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, officers in uniform can order a person to vacate and refrain from reentering an area in the order zone for up to 48 hours.
Legitimate requests to the public can be made by police if their behavior is causing or is likely to cause harassment, alarm, or distress, or add to crime or disorder.
The order will cease to be in effect at 3.59pm on March 30.
