The Barking and Dagenham Chamber of Commerce Business Awards are back this year and the Post is proud to be sponsoring an award again.
The awards were launched at the Champions of Change networking event last month.

There are 12 categories in the awards, which are free to enter, and focus on businesses located in Barking and Dagenham but there are also categories for businesses based outside of the borough that are trading in Barking and Dagenham.
The deadline for entries is 5pm on April 25.
Businesses, charities, and organisations can nominate themselves or others.
The categories, which are all free to enter, are: Barking & Dagenham Chamber of Commerce business person of the year 2025, business located Outside B&D which is trading in B&D, charity & community, green business, home grown talent, innovation through the use of digital media, customer service, training, development and supporting education, business growth, SME of the Year (11 employees or more), and sole trader / micro business of the ear (less than 11 employees).
The twelfth category, Barking & Dagenham Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year 2025, cannot be entered.
The winners of each of the above categories will roll into this category and the overall winner is the judges’ decision.
The awards will be dished out during a black-tie ceremony at Dagenham & Redbridge FC in June.
