It means free access at Abbey Leisure Centre for members of Barking and Dagenham Youth Dance as part of their creativity and leadership scheme.
“We love working with young people,” the charity’s founder Georgina Alexiou said. “We see their confidence grow, their ideas come to life and their energy light up the community.”
The promotion is run by Everyone Active, which manages the leisure centre for Barking and Dagenham Council.

Its area manager Hasan Romel said: “The dance charity is making a real difference to young people’s lives by creating safe, inclusive spaces.”
The charity was set up in 2003 for young people aged five to 21 to make the arts accessible to all, regardless of background.
Its Saturday Street Dance programme attracts 120 young people every week.
Other projects include decision-making through dance, training to lead workshops and a leadership programme with a youth work qualification equal to one GCSE.
Most members receive free school meals, underlining its role in reaching those from low-income families and disadvantaged backgrounds.
