The application is one of the latest to be submitted to Barking and Dagenham Council, and we’ve rounded up some of the most notable below.

The proposal, submitted for Hunters Hall Primary School on Alibon Road, would see solar PV panels fitted to the roof of the building (ref: 25/00932/PRIPV).

If approved, the school could benefit from reduced energy costs and a smaller carbon footprint as part of the borough’s push for sustainability.

Elsewhere in the borough, various home and site improvements have been proposed.

At 11 Parsloes Avenue, a planning application seeks to build an access ramp to the rear of the property to assist a disabled occupant (ref: 25/00940/HSE).

Over in Becontree, 63 Campden Crescent could see the addition of a single storey rear extension under a prior notification application.

The proposed extension would span six metres beyond the rear wall, reaching a height of 3.31 metres (ref: 25/00933/PRIEXT).

Another Becontree application – from The Co-operative Funeralcare on Green Lane – relates to several detailed conditions attached to a previous permission.

These include acoustic protection, refuse storage and hard landscaping (ref: 25/00939/AOD).

A tree-related application has also been filed at Academy Court on Longbridge Road.

The proposal seeks permission to remove lateral limbs from a tree protected by a preservation order, which overhangs parking spaces on site (ref: 25/00942/TPO).

In Eastbury, a lawful development certificate application has been submitted for a proposed change of use at 38 Woodward Road, turning a standard dwelling (Class C3) into a children’s home (Class C2) for one child, with carer support (ref: 25/00937/CLUP).
