Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called to Baring Road just before 2am today (April 27) to a crash involving a car and a cyclist on Baring Road.
Paramedics attended alongside.
The cyclist was treated for injuries and has been taken to hospital.
It is unconfirmed if his injuries are life-threatening.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD649/27April.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “We were called at 01:53hrs on Sunday, 27 April following reports of a collision involving a car and a cyclist in Baring Road, SE12.
“Met officers attended alongside paramedics.
“The cyclist was treated for injuries and taken to hospital where his condition is being assessed.
“The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
“There were no arrests.
“Enquiries are ongoing and any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD649/27April.”
