A planning application has been submitted for the change of use of unit 2a of Romford Shopping Hall from commercial use to learning and non-residential use.
Despite sharing an address, the site of the application is not owned by Romford Shopping Hall and was previously a physiotherapy unit.
If the application is accepted, B2B Educators UK, which offers short diploma courses and professional training, will move into the unit.

Dr. Attique Ur Rehman Shafq, director of B2B Educators UK, told the Recorder: “We believe there is great potential in Havering, and we are eager to contribute positively to the community by opening a branch in Romford.
“Our primary focus is to equip individuals with vocational skills that significantly increase their job prospects, thus reducing the number of jobless individuals in the area.

B2B Educators UK has been located in Clements Road, Ilford for the past two years and is now “in the process of relocating to Romford” according to Dr Attique.
He added: “We do not plan to keep the Ilford branch open once the move is complete.
“Romford will become our main premises, and I am particularly excited as I am also a resident of Romford.
“After the move, we are looking forward to exploring potential collaborations with the job centre and the local council.
“We are committed to providing the best possible support to the local community and playing a positive role through skill-based vocational training programs and short courses.”
A decision is expected to be made by Havering Council by April 23.
