More Card Stamps were introduced in February as an added bonus to the popular Morrisons More Card loyalty scheme. The window to earn stamps has now closed but customers have until Sunday June 22 to redeem their existing stamps. The one-year-old male black cat was seen partially decomposed, burned and covered in sand on Crouch Road Open Space last Wednesday (June 4) at 11.10am. It was reported to the RSPCA, which is currently not ruling out a “sinister” explanation to the death. Rescue officers believe that the cat may have been left there due to his condition. A decomposed fox cub was also found nearby, but it was not clear if this was related to the cat’s death. The emergency services were called to the major road shortly before 7.30am today (June 11). Police and paramedics attended and the 31-year-old biker was treated for head injuries. The capital is facing a drop in demand for school places, with a declining birth rate the main reason, according to London Councils. A 20% decrease between 2012 and 2022 translated to 27,490 fewer live births. Local authorities have cited a lack of affordable family housing, Brexit and the cost of living as contributing factors.
