Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were called at 1.52pm today (March 21) to Forest Road.  One of the exits from Blackhorse Road Station was closed in connection to the incident.  An ambulance crew, advanced paramedic and incident response officer were dispatched to the scene with paramedics in fast response cars, where a man was found in need of assistance.  He was treated at the scene and taken to hospital as a priority.  TfL has reported a “serious” incident in Forest Road, understood to have been a crash near the junction with Blackhorse Road.  It has yet to be confirmed…

The Piper PA-28-181, built in 1977, was damaged beyond economic repair in the incident at Rochester Airport on August 14, 2024. The pilot, who had 155 hours of flying experience, was conducting a private flight from Lydd to Rochester Airport and was the only person on board. An application was received by Havering Council towards the end of January to install an extractor flue in the building at 121 Mawney Road, owned by Avinash Tiwari. He told the Recorder last month that if plans were approved, the building would be used as an Indian restaurant.
