Five new benches were proposed as part of the council’s Haverstock Hill and Rosslyn Hill walking, cycling and road safety scheme last year – but these have never appeared. The incident in Station Parade was reported to the Metropolitan Police at around 11.30pm on March 22.  Footage of the incident has been circling online and has been shared to social media, showing a man surrounded by a group.  The 23-year-old victim suffered minor injuries in the assault and also had his phone stolen.  Four boys including a 12-year-old and 16-year-old from Havering, a 14-year-old from Enfield, and a 16-year-old from East Ham were arrested at the scene on suspicion of robbery and assault.  They have all since been released on bail.  A Met spokesperson said: “Around 23:30hrs on Saturday,…

The attack on the pensioners happened in Most Holy Trinity RC Church in Dockhead around 6pm on March 15. A brother and sister in their 70s and a man in his 20s were assaulted before church-goers and members of the public pulled a suspect to the ground. The emergency services were called to Cheapside around 2.30pm today (March 24). A video shared online shows a bus crumpled against a flower bed outside the Co-op on the busy City of London road.
