Labour’s Jim Dickson has stepped down as member for Herne Hill and Loughborough Junction ward in Lambeth. The 61-year-old has been MP for Dartford since July, when he overturned a 19,000 majority to win the seat of the Tories. Footage shared on social media shows a person kicking and attacking someone on the ground at St Paul’s Way on Tuesday (March 25) at 9.01pm. Sakhile Ntsele, 18, of Wandsworth Road, has been charged with 29 offences in total all relating to possessing firearms or explosives, with new charges being put forward on March 13. Ntsele was initially arrested following an incident at his home on October 27, 2024, after which police officers found “a variety of homemade weapons”. He was first charged two days later on October 29 with one charge of threatening a person with an offensive weapon and one charge of threats to kill. The North Central London Integrated Care Board and NHS England have decided on the future of maternity and neonatal services after a three-year programme of research, planning, modelling, and consultation. Against the backdrop of declining local birth rates, four maternity units at University College London Hospital (UCLH), Barnet Hospital, North Middlesex University Hospital, and Whittington Hospital will deliver care.
