The cancer had spread to her brain, and her family’s lawyers say it could have caused by exposure to asbestos to her jobs at factories in Enfield decades earlier. The decision comes after the Mayor said there was “overwhelming” support for the plan from the 6,000 people who took part in a consultation, with two thirds backing pedestrianisation.
