Permission was granted for the new station entrance in 2021, which will be provided as part of a wider redevelopment of The Mall in Selborne Road. A new application relating to the scheme has now been submitted to Waltham Forest Council that suggests work on the project is set to begin soon. Tesco has confirmed that a new store is being built at 89 Aldersbrook Road. A spokesperson said the chain will keep the community updated with plans as the store gets closer to opening this winter. Kaliyah Coa is still missing since police were first alerted of her entering the water close to Barge House Causeway at 1.23pm on March 31.  She had been playing during a school inset day at the time, police have said.  Emergency service crews attended and conducted a large-scale search to locate her, but the search later scaled down. The incident happened on the London-bound carriageway near the A2018 just after 7.30am today (April 8). Officers and South East Coast Ambulance crews attended and found the rider of the motorcycle injured. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for further treatment where he remains. Closures were put in place which caused delays of up to 60 minutes and four miles of congestion.
