The incident happened in Hoskins Street near Collington Street just before 5.30pm yesterday (April 9). Ambulance crews, a member of the Tactical Response Unit and an incident response officer attended and found a teen who had been stabbed. It has expressed concern over the introduction of tolls for the Silvertown and Blackwall tunnels. The council is particularly worried about the peak rate charges, which only apply to those travelling northbound from 6am to 10am and southbound from 4pm to 7pm. This means a Bexley resident registered for Auto Pay would have to pay £4 each way during these times, a total of £8 a day. Police were called to the station at 10.45pm yesterday (April 9) after a casualty was reported on the tracks. Officers and paramedics attended but the person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated by the police as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner. Lines were closed for three hours between Alexandra Palace and Welwyn Garden City.
