The construction of an 82-bed Travelodge hotel on the site of 11 Station Road was approved following an appeal on January 16 last year.  As part of the site redevelopment, existing buildings on the land required demolition. Keith Silk, 33, of Torrington Drive, was arrested on Saturday (July 19) on suspicion of violent disorder and criminal damage. He has now been charged with one count of violent disorder and one count of criminal damage. It follows protests surrounding The Bell Hotel, over immigration and the use of the place. The teenager was last seen wearing a black hoodie and Prada hat. The Metropolitan Police says that officers are concerned about the welfare of Adam. Police were called to Harrow Road yesterday (July 19) at 10.57pm to reports of a man who collapsed. At the scene, he was found seriously injured after being assaulted. Police say he remains in a life-threatening condition. No arrests have been made at this stage.
