Police were called to a man who had been stabbed in a home on Monson Road in New Cross around 7.30pm yesterday (August 2). Officers arrived with medics from the London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance. A 26-year-old man died at the scene.  His family are aware and is being supported by the police. Emergency services were called to a fight in Sevenoaks Way in Orpington at midnight yesterday (August 2). A man was found at the scene with stab wounds and taken to hospital. The Met Police said that several reports had been issued concerning property security in the Athlone Road, Brixton area. According to the report, a man was spotted on numerous occasions “looking through people’s windows” and “through parcels” early in the morning, usually at around 7am. A planning application to refurbish the shops at 9 and 10 Market Parade, Portland Road, has been submitted to Croydon Council. According to planning documents, the shops have been unoccupied for a number of years leaving them in a “state of considerable disrepair”. Matthew went missing from Croydon yesterday (August 2) at around 8:40pm. Police are concerned for his safety. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, blue trousers and carrying a blue backpack with white stripes. Anyone who sees him is being advised to contact 101.
