Aston Lambert, 33, of Longbridge Road has been convicted of murder following a trial at Southwark Crown Court today (August 6). Aston killed his father, 78-year-old Alban Lambert on March 17, 2025. The court heard that Aston had been living at his father’s flat in Longridge Road in the years preceding the murder. The front counter at Forest Gate Police Station, in Romford Road, will not close permanently despite cuts to other desks in London, according to a list published by Scotland yard on Wednesday (August 6). According to the British Transport Police (BTP), the incident occurred on the line between Victoria and King’s Cross station.
