The Royal London Hospital’s neurosciences unit has unveiled a transformed day room. The initiative was a collaborative effort between Vital Arts, Headway East London, and artist Billy Mann. The artwork aims to provide a supportive space for patients as they adjust to life following a traumatic brain injury. The Metropolitan Police was called to High Street on Ponders End just after 11am on October 30 to reports of a robbery and assault. Officers discovered 76-year-old Jalal Khan with head injuries. He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service in a life-threatening condition. He died in hospital yesterday (November 19). The Brigade was first alerted at 11.46am today (November 20), with eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters sent to tackle the fire.
