High Road, Willesden was taped up by police from the morning of yesterday (December 28) and most of today (December 29) as forensics investigated the knife attack. Recycling and waste collections for residential properties in Croydon will occur later than usual over Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025. Collections scheduled on Wednesday, December 25, and Thursday, December 26, will take place two days later. Police attended Collier Row Road today (December 13) close to the Colley-Row Inn Wetherspoons. The incident was reported at around 3.20pm by a concerned member of the public. Officers, including armed police, quickly arrived at the scene and arrested a man on suspicion of possessing a firearm. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
