Arneways Avenue will be shut between its junctions with Rose Lane and Newhouse Avenue from February 3.
It is not expected to reopen until March 17 as gas mains replacement works take place.
Works will be undertaken between 8am and 5pm on each of the 43 days, and will take place in two stages to “minimise impact”.
