Police were called to Argon Road, at the junction with Albany Road, after reports of a pedestrian hit by a black Peugeot 208 on December 31 at about 12.45pm.
The 58-year-old woman died at the scene despite the efforts of emergency services.
The driver, a woman in her 20s, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
However she has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
An appeal has been released by the Metropolitan Police calling for witnesses or people with dash cam footage to come forward.
