The outside of both Evolve Gyms have been covered with flowers and candles as those who knew him went over to pay their respect.
It follows after news of a fatal crash with two dead and Joshua injured while driving along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State, Nigeria, on Monday (December 29).
The Watford-born two-time unified world heavyweight champion was a passenger in a Lexus SUV which crashed.
His two close friends, Sina Ghami and trainer Latif Ayodele were later named as the victims killed in the incident.
Mr Ghami, a sports rehabilitator, runs Evolve Gym – one based in Edgware Road, Colindale, and another in Stonefield Way, South Ruislip.

Initially Evolve said it would be closed on Tuesday (December 30), with updated plans to be announced later.
In a new statement, the gym said: “We have taken the decision to extend the gym closure to New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
“We understand that this is a much needed time for staff, members, relatives and friends to continue paying their respects to Sina.
“We have appreciated all the outpouring of love for him and thank you again for being such a supportive community during this difficult time.
“We will keep you updated on our plans to reopen.”
Throughout yesterday (December 30), mourners gathered outside the two gyms as flowers were laid next to pictures of Mr Ghami and candles that were placed.
On its Instagram, Evolve Gym also shared some tributes that were posted online by others.
One read: “Sina lived with a joy that felt effortless, constant smiles, genuine laughter and an energy that lifted everyone around him.
“He was a truly great guy, and the space he leaves behind is heavy with love, memories, and gratitude for having known him.”
Another wrote: “You built not just a community, but a family Sina.
“That’s what Evolve is, it’s a space where we come together, we don’ just train.”

Mr Ayodele is a personal trainer who also worked closely with Joshua.
Hours before the incident, Joshua had shared a video of him playing table tennis with Mr Ayodele on his Instagram story.
Mr Ghami had also shared an image of him in Lagos, Nigeria.
A spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps said investigations indicate the vehicle was “travelling beyond the legally prescribed speed limit” and “lost control during an overtaking manoeuvre” before crashing into a stationary truck on the road.
