As you can imagine, scores of Brits had sympathy and instead found their plans absolutely hysterical.
One American chimed in: “Lmao that’s a shorter distance than DC to Boston. Are Brits just incredibly slow drivers?”
To which the original poster responded: “It’s not about the distance. Everything is shut on those two days. They want to go to multiple locations including major cities and a national park. Everything will be fully booked and there’ll be limited daylight and shit weather. Take it from Brits that it’s a s*** idea.”
